These three coins come in a leather draw-string purse.
The original coins these were based on are in the Worthing Museum and Gallery collection. They consist of:
- A 5th century Gold coin (a rare find in Britain). A ‘solidi’ of the Emperor Valentinian, found as part of the Patching Hoard in 1997.
- A Silver coin, a ‘siliquae’ of Emperor Valens and dates to the late 4th century, found as part of the Patching Hoard in 1997.
- A bronze coin, a silver denarii of Emperor Vespasian and dates to the mid-1st century and was found as part of the Washington Hoard.
